Hans C. Tuft
Biography
Hans C. Tuft is an experienced attorney who has successfully handled many complex litigation matters in Colorado’s state and federal trial and appellate courts. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history from San Jose State University. While at San Jose State, Mr. Tuft received the President’s Scholar Award and the Dean’s Scholar Award and was a member of the University’s club rugby team. Mr. Tuft attended the University of Colorado School of Law in Boulder, Colorado, where he earned the Jules Milstein Law Fund Scholarship, served on the Board of Editors for the University of Colorado Law Review, and participated in the school’s legal aid clinic.
Mr. Tuft was admitted to the Colorado State Bar in 2006, then joined the Colorado’s Fourth Judicial District Office of the District Attorney in Colorado Springs, Colorado as a Deputy District Attorney, where he gained invaluable litigation and trial experience. In 2008 Mr. Tuft joined Randy Torbet, our firm’s founding partner, and began his civil litigation practice. Mr. Tuft’s extensive understanding of construction and his ability to effectively communicate design, engineering, and structural issues to courts and juries gives him a competitive edge as an advocate for his clients in construction defect cases.
Mr. Tuft is admitted to practice law in all Colorado state and federal courts and the United States Supreme Court. He is grateful to live in the beautiful state of Colorado and enjoys exploring Colorado’s outdoors with his family.
